Wet Alkali Scrubbers specially designed for the harmful gases like Sulfur Dioxide and/ or Carbon Particle removal from off gases evolved from furnaces/boiler which use Coal Gas or wood or coal as a fuel. These are packed bed scrubber containing packing media and spray section.

Spray section cool downs gases to be scrubbed in Packed section which contains packing media in which gas and liquids are contacted in a counter current manner to remove unwanted acidic gases or particles from flue gases. Outgoing gases/smoke becomes free from contamination/pollutants gas/smoke that meets Pollution Norms of CPCB/GPCB.
